Greece: INTERNISA discusses role of vocational institutions in enhancing female participation in the labor market

Action Aid Hellas (AAH), the Greek partner of INTERNISA, has organized and implemented a major 2-days workshop entitled “Expanding the Participation of VET Organizations in the INTERNISA project”. 

This two-day workshop, which was addressed to the representatives of Vocational, Education, and Training (VET) Organizations, entitled: "Expanding the Participation of VET organizations in the INTERNISA Project".  During the workshop, AAH representatives presented the objectives and results of the INTERNISA Project, its web portal (https://www.internisa.eu/gr/) and the mobile application for women (My INTERNISA), the offline spot and the Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC). the dates of the workshop are:

18/07/2023 in person, in the Athens' offline spot and 19/07/2023 online mode

Following the presentations regarding the INTERNISA project, the representatives of VET Organizations had open discussions about the role of politicians and decision-makers in improving and strengthening the VET system, the best practices, and challenges in addressing gender gaps in the workplace and education and the importance of networking and collaboration in filling and removing gender gaps. Also, the participating VET Organizations signed the INTERNISA MoC in order to strengthen the project’s results and sustainability. These workshops came up with conclusions on how to reduce or remove the digital gap between genders.
