The Fifth of March 2020 was a normal Thursday morning at Masar Ibrahim Al-Kalil’s office: busy as usual and with mobile phones ringing nonstop, team members at their desks or talking in the halls to plan meetings for the next days and weeks.
But is wasn’t a normal day. Three cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed in a hotel in the Bethlehem area. The news about the cases started spreading but everyone thought it was a rumor.

CROSSDEV partner Masar Ibrahim Al-Khalil (MIAK) launches sub-grants to establish the service providers of its sustainable tourism project along the new area of the trail from Beit Mersim to Battir, in Palestine.
A total of 11 sub-grants are aimed at home stays, women centres and MSMEs to provide hikers & tourists with hospitality, food, information, etc.

The Royal Marine Conservation Society of Jordan (JREDS) – partner of the CROSSDEV project – launches sub-grants to support economic actors and tourism-related service providers along the less known cultural sites in Aqaba, Jordan.
A total of 2 sub-grants are available to support MSMEs, tour operators, protected areas/ touristic sites managers, women centers and local communities.
