In the frame of Co-Evolve4BG, an analysis related to the Threat and Enabling Factors (T&EF) will be developed at each of the pilot area scales of the project. This analysis aims to highlight the main issues or the needs of each pilot area to develop a sustainable coastal/maritime tourism. In this context, a specific approach was developed by Co-Evolve4BG team, to ensure an efficient analysis.

On the occasion of the fifth Arab Water Forum (Dubai, 21-23 September 2021) MENAWARA project organized the panel on "Water Security in Mediterranean Region: Sustainable water Reuse Strategies in Agriculture: the strengthening of water governance through innovative actions and technological solutions for the sustainable use of unconventional water.

Mahdia beach, one of the most beautiful beaches of Tunisia, is used at the end of the summer holidays to be invaded by different kind of waste: plastic bottles, aluminium cans, glass packaging bags and more. At the bottom of the sea, these intruders endanger the marine ecosystem and cause problems for both humans and marine life. On the seaside the situation is no better.
