The launching ceremony and 1^st local event p the BESTMEDGRAPE project in Jordan was held in 29^th February 2020 in Amman.

The event was organized by the Jordan Society for Scientific Research, Entrepreneurship and Creativity (JSSREC) with three specific objectives: to introduce the BESTMEDGRAPE project to the participants; to familiarize the participants with research and business opportunities by transfroming grapewaste into valubale products; to identify potential entrepreneurs to be engaged in living labs activities. More than 70 participants attended the workshop, representing governmental institutions, students, academics, researchers, entrepreneurs and local communities.

The JSSREC BESTMEDGRAPE team presented the project and the representative of the ENI CBC Med Programme in Aqaba discussed the opportunities and priorities of the ENI CBC Med Programme. Finally, a session was devoted to the aspects of business creation.
