EMPHASIS team Gathers in Alexandria to Discuss the Co-Creation of a Mediterranean Open Innovation Ecosystem

Following the project's first and second steering committee meetings, the EMPHASIS team is happy to announce its 3rd Steering Committee Meeting, which will include arranged visits throughout Alexandria, on September 13th and 14th, 2022, in Egypt. This Steering Committee Gathering will be the project's first in-person meeting since its inception, bringing together the majority of partners in person while others who are unable to attend will participate virtually. The two-day event will begin on Tuesday morning at the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce with an institutional welcome by the hosts, the Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations, followed by the lead partners, KiNNO Consultants, and the first Committee discussions.  Later in the day partners will enjoy a local dinner by the shore of the Mediterranean. 

On the second day, the partnership will visit the Open Innovation and Research Center of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, followed by a sightseeing trip of Alexandria, bringing the essence of cross-border cultural exchange to life.

The meeting will provide an excellent chance for partners to connect, examine the project's progress and next steps in light of the project's first year of implementation, chart a course for the months ahead, and discuss the EMPHASIS Open Call's progress.
