CLUSTER in Cyprus launches its free training courses in Sustainable Economy sectors targeting unemployed youth and women!

Registrations are now open!  Free Training in Innovative and Sustainable Agricultural Sectors by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) under the CLUSTER ENI CBC Med project!

The CCCI announces the launch of registrations for the free training program it offers under the CLUSTER project in Cyprus, in the following sectors:

  • Organic Agriculture
  • Sustainable Food Processing
  • Aquaponics
  • Hydroponics
  • Soft Employment Skills

The CLUSTER project, co-funded by the European Union under the cross-border ENI CBC Mediterranean Basin program, aims to increase employment in sustainable sectors of the economy targeting NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training) aged 18-30 years old and women of all ages.

Within the framework of the CLUSTER project, the CCCI will provide free training, mentoring and guidance:

Online training:

Through the online learning platform of CLUSTER, training will be offered in five languages, including Greek. The training material consists of five modules:

1.    Organic Farming
2.    Sustainable Food Processing
3.    Aquaponics
4.    Hydroponics
5.    Soft Employment Skills

Onsite training:

Upon completion of the online training in Organic Farming or Hydroponics, trainees will have the opportunity to participate in 25-hour on-site training in either of these two fields, through an Open Call.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) coaching sessions:

These sessions aim to guide trainees on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) issues and train them to develop their own initiatives.

Paid traineeships:

The top trainees will have the opportunity to participate in paid internships in companies in the Organic Farming or Hydroponics sectors, upon their completion of the onsite training, through an Open Call.

 

Since CLUSTER is a project co-funded by the European Union, the training courses are free of charge.
