Through the process of technology transfer and business creation, five innovative and high-tech ideas were born from the group made up of 30 potential entrepreneurs initially selected in Italy.

The potential entrepreneurs have grouped into teams that bring together different skills and professional experience, from the agricultural to the economic and scientific world.

This contamination represented the strong point that allowed the birth of 5 ideas, which represent as many potential companies, which will put into practice the principles of the circular economy: starting from the by-products of vine processing, Arkosmea will produce cosmetic products, FertiWine biofertilizer, Resveralab natural e-cigs, ReWine viniferine extraction, and Vitigna flours.

These 5 projects were the focus of the event held at Argiolas Winery on Saturday 12 February 2022: an exceptional location, guests of an associated partner of our project, who offered valuable testimony on their successful business case.

The presence of the Managing Authority of the ENI CBC MED program was also fundamental, not only to find out about the business ideas born from the project, which will be able to receive subgrants of 5000 euros each but also to listen to proposals and suggestions from the project beneficiaries to share with the European Commission for future initiatives.

Francesca Argiolas, the grandchild of the founder of Argiolas Winery, represents the third generation of the family that works here.
