Last month our partners from Eilat-Eilot Municipalities visited Eilat-Eilot Auditorium to give a lecture to university students who are registered in the Renewable Energy course. The students were informed for the policy initiatives of Municipalities to reach 100% energy production from renewable energy and therefore become a climate neutral city.

In this framework, BERLIN project was presented as a good example for further penetration of renewable resources into the energy production. The presentation included an explanation of the technologies installed in the building pilot sites and how the data of these case studies will be used in academic research and consequently draft policy recommendations to boost investments in photovoltaic grid integration.
