The Palestinian Businesswomen's Association - Asalathe Palestinian partner of the MedBEESinessHubs project, participated in two events organized by Jenin Beekeepers Cooperative Association (a stakeholder of the project), which were held on the occasion of World Bee Day and the International Day for Biological Diversity.

The two events were held with the aim of shedding a spotlight on the Honeybee Sector in Palestine. The events included workshops on the challenges faced by the Beekeeping Sector, as well as cultural and recreational events for children specifically. This was done to raise awareness within the community on this sector, which is considered one of the most important biological sectors in Palestine, as well as affirm the importance of developing it.

A group of stakeholders and project beneficiaries (beekeepers) participated in the events within the framework of striving to activate the sector and attract attention to it. The two events were held at the Cooperative Beekeepers' Association's headquarters in Jenin on the 20th and 22nd of May 2023.
