Are you a young person between 18 and 30 years of age or a woman living in the Nabeul Governorate? Are you currently Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEET)? Would you like to develop your knowledge and skills in fields of the Green, Circular, Blue Economy and Sustainable Agriculture sectors? Are you interested in improving your Soft Employment Skills?

CLUSTER’s free training programme in Tunisia managed by the General Agency for Regional Development (CGDR), partner of CLUSTER in Tunisia, consists of the following 3 phases listed in chronological order:

1st phase: Online Courses

These courses are offered through CLUSTER's E-Learning Platform and are open for at least 250 NEETs living in the Nabeul Governorate. They consist of 5 modules:

  • Beginner level of the 4 sector modules including basic notions of Soft Employment Skills training:
    • Aquaponics
    • Hydroponics
    • Organic Farming
    • Sustainable Food Processing
  • Advanced level of the Soft Employment Skills module.

Applicants can enrol in at least 1 of the 5 online modules. Each of the 5 modules is asynchronous and self-paced. The expected number of hours of completion of each of the 5 modules is 36 hours.

2nd phase: Onsite Training on Sustainable Food Processing

Out of the online trainees who successfully complete the basic level of this same sector module, the best 20 will be selected through an Open Call to be enrolled in the onsite training. This training will last for 25 hours during the week of 19 June 2023 and will include field visits to enterprises operating in Sustainable Food Processing in the Nabeul Governorate. The training will include sessions on Corporate Social Responsibility.

3rd phase: Paid Internships

These internships will be remunerated through a sub-granting scheme and will last for up to 3 months. They will be offered to the top 10 candidates who have completed the onsite training phase based on an Open Call selection process. These 10 interns will apply their knowledge and skills gained in enterprises operating in Sustainable Food Processing in the Nabeul Governorate. These internships are scheduled to take place during June-August 2023.

Since CLUSTER is a project co-funded by the European Union, the training courses are free of charge.
