ARC-Medwaves, the UNEP/MAP Regional Activity Centre for SCP has launched a call for hosting organisations in Italy, with the aim of giving textile and fashion start-ups access to markets and attend conferences that will help them expand their business. In this framework, Medwaves as the leading partner of STAND Up! project, is in charge to support circular textile ventures in exploring international opportunities and access new Mediterranean markets through a soft-landing voucher scheme.

The Spanish start-up that will be assisted is a venture manufacturing and marketing recycled plastic sheets from textile waste, which is one of the start-ups selected to benefit from a soft-landing voucher. The main goal of this call is to provide technical assistance by assisting the Spanish start-up to find Italian industries able to manufacture non-woven textile made of textile waste and to find Italian-based clients, potentially interested in applying the solution in their products.

Candidates should submit both a technical and a financial offer, together with a profile and project references and the bank form filled in. Offers must be sent to Anna Ibáñez (aibaneza@gencat.cat) with the subject ‘Access to market – Italy’ before next 31^st October 2022 (included). The maximum amount per offer is 1.200 Euros (+VAT).
