On 7 and 8 February 2022, CLUSTER participated in the Forum of Mediterranean Worlds, an event gathering more than 150 young people from both shores and 60 projects.

Organized by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs on the initiative of the President of the French Republic, the Mediterranean Worlds Forum was held in Marseille on 7 and 8 February 2022, and constituted a space for space for exchanges and debates, mobilizing civil society actors from all over the Mediterranean basin with the aim of exploring concrete solutions to meet common challenges.

Mare nostrum is our sea, our space, a shared place which is the cradle of our civilisation and a link between Europe, Africa, the Near and Middle East.

In the Project Village, the beating heart of the Forum, numerous project developers were brought together, highlighting the vitality, creativity and commitment of Mediterranean civil society actors. In these two days, CLUSTER, represented by the members of the European Institute of the Mediterranean and CDE Petra Patrimonia, was given the opportunity to present its work of advancing the social inclusion of young people, in particular women, to dozens of young people from the Mediterranean region.

The Project Village mobilised actors of the social and solidarity economy, together with associations, local authorities, and institutions. Speed-meetings were hosted as part of the Village, where CLUSTER could connect and explore potential partnerships with other projects, while showcasing their activities to offer solutions to contemporary Mediterranean issues.

Moreover, on 8 February 2022, CLUSTER Project Manager participated as a speaker at the "Economic Empowerment of Women” workshop, where more than 30 people had the chance to learn more about the project activities and goals.
