REUSEMED in Italy promotes composting in bars and restaurants
The municipality of Capannori, together with ASCIT, will start in 2023 an experimental program to incentivize the local bars and restaurants to compost their organic waste. It is a new project, that aims at reducing waste produced in this town. It takes place within the framework of REUSEMED, in which Capannori joined with partners in Spain, Jordan and Tunisia. These initiatives don’t only aim at starting a circular economy, but also at developing environment-friendly initiatives such as composting.
