Innovation lies at the heart of economic growth and development. Recognizing this, the EMPHASIS project in Italy has identified and supported four small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to unleash their innovative potential. These companies, hailing from diverse sectors, are set to benefit from the project's resources and expertise.

'Comp-Osterìa' is the new initiative  promoted by the Municipality of Capannori in Italy, in collaboration with the Centro Ricerca Rifiuti Zero, coordinated by Rossano Ercolini, within the scope of the REUSEMED  project, financed by the EU-funded programme ENI CBC Med. The project aims at promoting the culture of reuse  in the Mediterranean area of which the Municipality of Capannori is part of.

Beyond Group, the Lebanese partner for RESET is seeking an experienced community manager to build and manage the forum activity and maintain engagement with the forum’s online community in English (French and Arabic are desirable – the ideal candidate would be able to do so in all three mentioned languages). This will mostly entail guiding topic-based discussion threads, monitoring, answering questions and addressing issues, and suggesting connections and collaborations, while ensuring the engagement of the group and promoting a positive environment for community members.

Mahdia, May 30, 2023 - The launching  of the Mahdia Municipal Composting Site, made possible by the contribution of the European Union, marks a significant milestone in waste management for the municipality.

A hybrid press conference will be organized on the 6th of June 2023 to communicate to the international press the advances of this pioneering initiative on organic agriculture, which is backed by the EU and key stakeholders from Jordan, Italy, Lebanon, Spain, and Greece.

A second remarkable Innovation Camp (IC) on Non-Conventional Water Resources (NCWR) took place in Amman, Jordan from 9-10 May 2023. The event exuded an atmosphere of boundless enthusiasm and genuine appreciation, effectively showcasing the transformative potential of collaboration, creativity, and forward-thinking in tackling water issues.

On May 12, 2023, as part of MYSEA project, the first technical seminar was held in Priverno, in the province of Latina, bringing companies and vocational training institutions, together with local institutions, to align skills between labor supply and demand and promote the labor inclusion of young people and women in the emerging sectors of the blue & green economy especially in rural areas such as Priverno.
