YEP MED organises 2nd training in Port Community Logistics in Barcelona

The second course of the year organised in the Barcelona Community will focus on the introduction of the concepts of Port Logistics to vocational students coming from the Les Salines Institute and those studying at eCATbcn – I. Lluïsa Cura. 

The course will provide first-year students of International Trade and those studying Transport and Logistics at training centres in the Barcelona area with first-hand knowledge of the Port of Barcelona, its infrastructures, logistics equipment and operations. It will also allow companies in the sector, through the associations, to make the characteristics of their activities and the professional profiles they need to develop appropriately known to the young members of the community.

The overall goal of the YEP MED courses is to encourage exchanges between training centres and companies, and to motivate companies to hire students in dual training programmes, therefore lowering the unemployment rate and encouraging youth occupations.
