SME4SMARTCITIES: Israel, Kfar Saba Municipality series of events kicks-off


Kfar Saba municipality (Israel), a consortium member of the SME4SMARTCITIES project held on February 16th an international conference - SMEs for Smart Urban Sustainability, the first of its series. The scope of these conferences is to lay the foundation for cities from Mediterranean countries especially Spain and Italy to closely collaborate with SMEs and the Public Sector to develop innovative, sustainable solutions to urban challenges faced by cities today.

The first online conference was a success and it was attended by over a hundred participants from around Israel and Europe, mainly from Mediterranean countries such as Spain and Italy. The speakers' lineup was impressive and we remind Mr. Itai Tzahar, Kfar Saba’s general director, Mr. Antonio Fuentes Cano, SME4SMARTCITIES project manager, Dr. Orli Ronen, and Mr. Avigdor Sharon from Tel Aviv University, Dr. Roey Tzezana from Obvislim and Mr. Avi Blau Director of Afeka Institute of Circular Engineering and Economy.
