CROSSDEV signs agreement to preserve and enhance heritage in Aqaba, Jordan

The Department of Antiquities of Jordan and The Royal Marine Conservation Society of Jordan (JREDS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at preserving national heritage, increasing awareness and knowledge about archaeological and historical sites in Aqaba, protecting the cultural, historical and marine heritage and implementing sustainable activities to preserve the sites.

YEP MED develops new digital training methodology based on virtually simulated enterprises

Practice makes perfect. There is no doubt about it. Historically, educational models that incorporated experiential and real-life experiences have proven to be more successful. Currently many professions already employ experiential training approaches – learning-on-the-job, internships, and fellowships are only some examples. As we enter the during and post-covid reality, however, in-person practical experience is becoming harder to attain.

MED GAIMS leads the design of game ecosystem for collective gamified experiences in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Spain

Funded by the ENI-CBCMED, the MED GAIMS project develops games in tourist destinations not for fun only, but with the  goal of creating memorable experiences for the visitors in order to increase tourist flows, and to develop jobs within the gamification industry. Ten games will be developed in each of Lebanon, Jordan, Italy, and Spain; five analog games, and five digital games. All the games experiences have to be related with the tourists’ destinations, their cultural heritage and their attractions.

EU-funded YEP MED introduces the Port Community scenario to Italian students in Sustainable Mobility

Civitavecchia, 9 April - The first vocational training course of the YEP MED project, funded by the ENI CBC Med European programme, has ended in Civitavecchia. The three-day course, coordinated by Escola Europea Country Manager, Marco Muci, together with the Port Authority of Civitavecchia, was held remotely with 43 students from the ITS Sustainable Mobility of Ortona.
