The YEP MED project works towards the bettering of the economic conditions of young people around the Mediterranean by improving their employability and adding to the repertoire of their Blue Skills. On top of this, an emphasis is made on the inclusion of women in the training and internship programmes. Women have always had a more difficult road in the professions of the logistics and transport sectors, and this was further solidified by the consequences of the pandemic.

In this article Ana Rumbeu Daviu, the Training Director at the Valenciaport Foundation (Spain), a partner of the YEP MED project, shares her vision for the training needs in the digital economy in light of the rapid growth in digitalisation and other innovative trend.

Within the framework of the BESTMEDGRAPE project, the partners from Italy, Tunisia, Jordan and Lebanon have started the accompaniment of 120 potential entrepreneurs (30 from each country) selected for the exploitation of promising grape-related products and services in March 2021. A group of 30 potential entrepreneurs in France will start the incubation program shortly.
