Tunisia: COMMON project develops institutional capacities against marine litter
The COMMON project team at the Institut National des Sciences et Technologies de la Mer (INSTM) organized a training with local institutions and associations for the reduction of marine litter through the integrated management of marine litter.
GIMED: 138 entrepreneurs and 24 early stage ventures have been already trained!
GIMED partners gathered together last 23rd of June 2021 in a virtual meeting to follow-up on last and upcoming activities. The event, which was held online due to current Covid-19 travel restrictions, was divided in four different sessions to analyse, evaluate and monitor current status of activities, financial situation of the project, the subgranting regime and few communication milestones.
YEP MED Storytellers – Reflections on the course in International Trade and International Operations in Civitavecchia (part 2)
Following the first YEP MED course using the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform in Civitavecchia. 3 students shared with us their experiences. The students, who are currently studying Management of Integrated Logistics and Shipping Processes (Gestione della Logistica Integrata e dei Processi di Spedizione) at ITS Caboto (Italy), the students participated in the 2 week YEP MED training to put some of the theory they have learned into virtual practice

Tunisia: Co-Evolve4BG identifies key factors for sustainable tourism development in Djerba
Within the framework of the Co-Evolve 4BG project, a workshop took place in Djerba, Tunisia, on 26th of June, where one of the pilot areas of the project is located.
The event was organized by the National Institute of Marine Sciences and Technologies (INSTM), lead beneficiary of the project, at Seabel Rym Beach Hotel and it was dedicated to local actors belonging to different institutions who came enthusiastically to learn about all the progress that has been made so far in this pilot area of the Co-Evolve4BG project.
