Mapping territorial assets: behind the scenes of the CROSSDEV project

The goal of the CROSSDEV project is to increase tourism competitiveness and attractiveness of less known destinations and rural areas in Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, and Italy, improving skills and knowledge, contributing to build a better tourism to benefit socio-economic development and the protection of the environment and cultural heritage. Over the last months, Italian partner CoopCulture played a crucial role to achieve this goal mapping all activities, possibilities and assets of each territory involved in the project.

Skills4Sports: What Palestinian Stakeholders think about youth employment in the sports sector

A significant number of stakeholders with various roles in youth and sports sectors participated in the Skills4Sports Press and Info Day held at Ramallah, Palestine on June 30th, 2021.

All the invited stakeholders emphasized on the great importance of the project for the increase of youth employability through the reduction of existing skills gap between young neets and companies’ requirements in the sports sector.

The University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS), partner of HELIOS project in Palestine, has published a notice for the recruitment of a Media Production Company.

A Hellenic Olympian shares her ideas during Skills4Sports Info Day in Evia

A great participation was achieved in the Infoday and the Press Day held at Chalkida, Evia in Greece, on Wednesday 21st of July, 2021, within the Skills4Sports project.
The event was attended physically by a significant number of local and regional stakeholders representing local and regional authorities and associations of the sports and youth sectors, while more than 50 people attended the event online though ZOOM platform and Skills4Sports Youtube Channel. Local journalists were also present reporting afterwards the event and the project itself on local and regional media.

TRANSDAIRY: Successful Accomplishment of the first round of the Entrepreneurship seminars in Greece

The first round of the entrepreneurship seminars of TRANSDAIRY project was successfully completed. The seminars were held online (due to COVID-19) on July 27-30, 2021 and were co-organized by the two Greek partners of the project (Research University Institute of Communication; Computer Systems – ICCS, Agricultural University of Athens - AUA) and their Living Labs.

Greece: 15 MEDSt@rts business ideas have been selected and will receive up to 10,000 euros

After a process of training and consulting that lasted almost a year, also the Chamber of Achaia - Greek partner of MEDSt@rts - has completed the selection of the 15 aspiring entrepreneurs who will receive a sub-grant of € 10,000 each.
