Under Med4Waste a mapping and assessment of local, regional and national policies on waste management has been produced, focusing on the 6 project partner countries, namely: Greece, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Spain and Tunisia.

The international event 'What’s next? Policy advocacy and durable impact: lessons learnt from MedRiSSE project' was organized by Asamblea de Cooperación por la Paz (ACPP) in Seville, Spain to make a general overview after two years implementing the project and to outline proposals for future continuity.

MedRiSSE project held an open international event entitled "Meeting synergies: to strengthen links between capitalised projects to maximise replication of best practices in Mediterranean countries".

The 'TECHLOG Open House Event' held at the Eastern Living Lab of the project in Alexandria, Egypt saw the participation of various companies from the public and private transportation sectors, as well as port cargo handling.

On the 17th September 2023, U-SOLVE in Palestine announces its final 5 winners who will receive the project subgrant for launching and supporting their businesses. After a journey of over year and half of evaluating the needs of the Palestinian ecosystem, scouting for creative ventures, training and coaching the entrepreneurs, the journey is finally crowned with the launch of 5 successful startup to the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Palestine.

This innovative project, bolstered by various stakeholders, is bringing a brighter future for both bees and humans in Beitillu.

In the heart of Beitlo, a Palestinian charming village grappling with rising unemployment among its women and youth, a remarkable transformation is taking place. A visionary sub-grant project is breathing new life into this community, driven by the dual mission of empowering its residents economically and nurturing a deep sense of environmental consciousness. As traditional practices give way to innovation, the village is set to embrace a brighter and more sustainable future.

The pilot action in Tunisia is focused on an innovation-hub led by the Pensée Nationale Libre as well as CITESS; two local non profits entities, with the support Espace Entreprendre and the High Institute of Technological Studies (ISET), the latter linked to the Industry and Innovation Promotion Agency (APII).

The NEX-LABS Nexus Joint Action Plan (NJAP) emerges as a strategic response to future Water, Energy, and Food (WEF) Nexus challenges within the European Union - Mediterranean Partnership Countries (EU-MPCs). Tailored to enhance the outcomes of Nexus Driven Open Living Labs (NDOLLs), the NJAP shifts the management focus from inputs to outputs, utilizing design thinking dynamics. This policy-oriented outcome aims to capitalize on the outputs generated during project activities to drive impactful change.
