In this video, Prof Giovanni Ferri of LUMSA University, project partner in INVESTMED, gives an overview of the INVESTMED Summer School, that took place in September 2023 in Rome.
The Summer School invited the highest ranking business ideas to Rome to participate in a Summer School, full of visits to start-up hubs in Rome and Florence, additional coaching and training sessions on pitching, and opportunities to network and connect with other businesses across the Southern Mediterranean.

INVESTMED Capacity Building explained: Part 2 Coaching and Mentoring
In this video, part 2 of the explainers on Capacity Building activities, Prof. Giovanni Ferri, of LUMSA University, project partner of INVESTMED, explains the coaching and mentoring programme that took place at the beginning of 2023.
21 business ideas from Egypt, Lebanon, and Tunisia were coached and mentored according to sustainable business management principles, strengthening them and ensuring pitch readiness. The business ideas were all in the sectors of the green economy, blue economy and the cultural and creative industries.
INVESTMED Capacity Building explained: Part 1 Sustainable Management Training Programme
In this video, Prof. Giovanni Ferri of LUMSA University, Project Partner in INVESTMED discusses the training programme and capacity building activities carried out under the INVESTMED project where over 100 budding entrepreneurs benefitted from the Sustainable Business Management webinars and training cycles that took place in each country, Egypt, Lebanon and Tunisia.
He first explains the philosophy behind the project and the methodologies and approaches implemented to achieve its goals. Then he moves to focus specifically on the training activities.
