In each participating region, the ARTOLIO project strives to support local extra virgin olive oil producers, and one way to support them is to place the partner's efforts on promoting the product during the remaining time until its completion.

Extra virgin olive oil is considered a basic need and a healthy product, especially for the people living in the Mediterranean basin. It’s a sign of culture, almost a part of the idiosyncrasy. The partners of ARTOLIO, who also happen to be Mediterraneans, understand that an effort must be made to transmit this message outside the Basin, to the rest of the world.
ARTOLIO partner Arturo García-Agulló Meliveo, from Spain: “I believe it is essential for our farmers and olive millers to strengthen their knowledge about the product, and focus all the efforts on the quality and on how to make profit.”
Within the marketing area of ARTOLIO, there are those who count with first-hand experience on how to manage an olive groove and that combine their knowledge about agronomy with marketing and business strategies. After all, ARTOLIO is not only concerned about the quality of its farmers' extra virgin olive oil, but also about how their businesses are faring.

8th graders experienced defending against invaders of Saida Sea Castle utilizing MED GAIMS support
On November 10th, 2022 the American University of Beirut in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture - Directorate General of Antiquities (DGA) – Lebanon, hosted a fair in Saida Sea Castle. 60 students from grade 8 along with 5 instructors from the College Saint-Joseph de l'Apparition in Saida were invited.
After the DGA site manager gave a historical overview of the place, the students were introduced to the installed games developed within the MEDGAIMS project.
