On the 30th November 2023, INVESTMED held its final closing event in Tunisia, presenting project achievements and highlighting the impact made by the project from 2020 until 2023. The 8 project partners, BUSINESSMED, EMEA, IEMED, Beyond Group, CEEBA, LUMSA University, iED, and the Spanish Chambers of Commerce were all present at the event, as well as the INVESTMED subgrantees, several trainees that took part in the capacity building activities, and members of the press from Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, and Europe.

INVESTMED Interview Idwey - A Summer School Success Story
Meet Khouloud Kaabi, CEO and co-founder of Idwey, a start-up in the tourism industry based in Tunisia.
IDWEY is a Tunisian startup which is developing an innovative tool for managing regional ecotourism alternatives. It is a regional tourism guide that connects nature lovers with ecotourism service providers.
Khouloud participated in the INVESTMED Summer School in September 2023 in Rome, Italy, and won 2nd place in the pitch competition.

INVESTMED: Sowing the Seeds of Entrepreneurship in the Southern Mediterranean
This video is a visual interpretation of the INVESTMED project. It incorporates shows the sowing of entrepreneurial seeds planted by the efforts of the INVESTMED project, leading to the growth of a flourishing green, blue, and CCI ecosystem in the Southern Mediterranean. In this video, Prof Giovanni Ferri of LUMSA University, project partner in INVESTMED, gives an overview of the INVESTMED Summer School, that took place in September 2023 in Rome.
The Summer School invited the highest ranking business ideas to Rome to participate in a Summer School, full of visits to start-up hubs in Rome and Florence, additional coaching and training sessions on pitching, and opportunities to network and connect with other businesses across the Southern Mediterranean.
