PPI4MED in Spain shows United Arab Emirates the development of Public Procurement of Innovation
On 8th May 2024, the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) received the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) delegation from the United Arab Emirates. The meeting was attended by representatives of the ATRC, such as the Director General, Executive Director PMO, Senior Director PMO, Government Affairs Project Manager and several advisors, and from the CSIC's side the Vice-president for International Affairs, the Vice-President for Innovation and Technology Transfer, and international and transfer technicians.

More than 280 deliverables are now fully available in the public library to showcase results from ENI CBC MED funded projects, the previous edition of Interreg NEXT MED programme. The process is still ongoing to make sure that each one of the 80 funded projects can share the most relevant achievements that cover the 11 priorities of the Programme divided into 4 Thematic Objectives, i.e.
Supporting Eco-Entrepreneurship with RESMYLE: An Extract of Achievements
RESMYLE, present in five Mediterranean countries, has played a pivotal role in supporting over 200 young eco-entrepreneurs, thus backing more than 130 business projects. Through its six eco-incubators, RESMYLE has provided budding innovators with the resources and guidance necessary to bring their ideas to fruition while upholding environmental and social values.

In a world constantly seeking sustainability and innovation, the RESMYLE project stands out by illuminating the path towards an economically viable and environmentally respectful future. Through this ambitious initiative, 6 eco-incubators have been established in five different countries: France, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, and Tunisia. These incubators have acted as catalysts for young entrepreneurial potential and have fostered the emergence of innovative ecological solutions.

The ORGANIC ECOSYSTEM project developed an open-access platform called the Organic Data Base with two sections:
- Local (national): For national-level data and management by competent authorities like Ministries of Agriculture.
- Cross-border (public): For sharing information and connecting stakeholders across the Mediterranean region.
