REUSEMED project's sustainable legacy: lasting contributions in four Mediterranean countries
Over a period of more than two years, the distinguished REUSEMED Project partners in Deir Allaa (Jordan), Capannori (Italy), Sakiet Ezzit (Tunisia) and Cordoba (Spain) have been diligent and dedicated in promoting the culture of reuse. And although the project has already reached its conclusion, its impact transcends time, manifesting itself in projects and initiatives that persist in operation in these diverse communities.
Thanks to the REUSEMED project, the municipality of Deir Allaa gets a truck to ensure the sustainability of the Composting Circuit
This truck will undoubtedly be a very useful component of the Compost Loop, as it will significantly facilitate the transportation of the collected agricultural products and waste from the farms around Deir Allaa to the Compost factory. As a result, transportation costs incurred by farmers will be reduced, in addition to encouraging them to cooperate in making good use of agricultural residues from their farms to produce compost.
