NAWAMED: the University of Jordan publishes a call for tenders to select a construction company to install Jerash pilot plant
The University of Jordan (UJ), partner of NAWAMED project, has launched a call for tenders for selecting a construction company to perform the installation of Jerash pilot plant.
The deadline for submitting bids is 3rd of April 2023 (at 1:00 PM Amman time).
The provided services for the project is exempted from all taxes (including VAT).
LIVINGAGRO at the forefront for mitigating climate change with a forest restoration project in northern Jordan
In the framework of LIVINGAGRO project and, more specifically, in the context of the experimentation activities relating to Living Lab 2 (grazed woodlands), a rehabilitation, utilization and development of forest ecosystems action was implemented by the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC), which planted forest tree seedlings in the Maysara Forest, Arda District, northern Jordan.

SIRCLES partners visited the compost facility in Andros, Greece
On 16th and 17th March 2023, SIRCLES partners from Greece, Spain, Italy, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine and Tunisia met in Athens, Greece to attend the fifth Steering Committee of the project and to visit the compost facility built in Andros by the Greek partners of the consortium: the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and Organisation Earth (OE).
REUSEMED featured on Tunisian radio programme to promote the culture of reuse
The communication activities of l´Agence Nationale de la gestion des déchets (ANGed), one of the Tunisian partner of REUSEMED in Sakiet Ezzit near Sfax, for the support of the clothing and toy circuits on 10, 11 and 12 March 2023 were featured in the Forum de l'ENVIRONMENT (Montada EL biaa) programme on "Radio ZITOUNA" on Sunday 12 March 2023.
REUSEMED promotes the reuse of second-hand objects for dogs in Spain
On 18 March 2023, the municipal waste company of Córdoba (Sadeco), lead beneficiary of REUSEMED, presented its canine crate prototype, called 'gua-gua box', at the event 'With your pet'. The product developed boot that serves as an exchange for second hand objects for dogs.
This idea is framed within the initiatives planned for the REUSEMED project and seeks to promote the circular economy and cooperation among the city's residents.
