AQUACYCLE’s Final Conference will be hosted by the Lebanese University at the Chamber of Commerce of Tripoli, Lebanon during 23-24 June 2023, under the patronage and presence of the Honourable Dr. Nasser Yassin, Minister of Environment in Lebanon.

An important meeting took place in Jenin, Palestine, where a wide range of people, including farmers, local stakeholders, private sector representatives, practitioners and technicians were brought together to learn and understand the implementation of best practices related to wastewater reuse as a non-conventional water resource.

STAND Up! partners are launching the Intellectual Property Voucher program, as part of the project activity "Policy influence and eco-system stimulation to support improved IPR”.

The National Institute of Marine sciences and Technologies (INSTM), lead beneficiary of Co-Evolve4BG project, published notice of invitation to consultation N°5/2023 relating to the selection of two junior administrative assistants on behalf of the project Co-Evolve4BG.

About EDAMA:

In the framework of the LIVINGAGRO project field visits which were and are being implemented in all four project countries, on last 9^th of May 2023 the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC) organized a new field visit to permaculture project at Sharhabeel Research Station in Northern Jordan Valley.

The impacts of the ongoing unsustainable, linear model of “make-use-dispose” require a paradigm shift, one where economic growth is decoupled from resource use. In the Mediterranean, a region which is more subject to global warming and faces contrasting social, economic and political realities, in general, and specifically regarding governance of waste management, the need to speed up the transition towards a Green, Zero Waste economy is urgent.

The conference was organized in Rome on the 7th June 2023 by the Tourism Department of Lazio Region in partnership with Valenciaport Foundation in the framework of Co-Evolve4BG project in order to transfer to other Italian coastal areas the results of the project.

On 6^th June, the second meeting of the Italian participatory phase of the Co-Evolve4BG project took place in presence at the Visitors’ Centre of Circeo National Park in Sabaudia (LT). The event aimed at the development of a tourism promotion project based on the historical recognition of the territory as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The reserve includes the municipalities of Latina, Sabaudia, San felice Circeo and Terracina, largely within the Circeo National Park.
