As the RESET project heads towards its closing at the end of this year, we want to share an overview of our recent progress and ongoing activities. The third WEF-CAP Policy Brief presents the findings of a large public consultation on water, energy and food management in the Mediterranean
This policy brief provides an overview of the findings gathered through this public consultation. More specifically, it offers an analysis of the inputs received on stakeholders' awareness, knowledge, perception and expectations regarding the state of climate change in the EU-MPC region, the extent of the water-energy-food interdependence and the challenges to the implementation of the WEFN integrated approach in the region, as well as the impacts derived from their implementation in order to evaluate/validate the outputs that have been produced by the project.

Plastic Busters CAP organizes in Tunisia a Workshop to integrate Marine Litter into Local and National Planning
In an effort to combat marine litter and promote sustainable coastal management, the Plastic Busters CAP project is set to host a workshop for integrating marine litter into local and national planning. This event will take place on 20th September 2023 at the Mouradi Gammarth Hotel in Tunis and is organized by the National Institute of Marine Sciences and Technologies of Tunisia (INSTM), in partnership with the Mediterranean Information Office for Environment, Culture and Sustainable Development (MIO-ECSDE) and the University of Siena (UNISI).
ENSERES final event in Tunis to celebrate sustainable solutions with cities and protected areas
Collaboration between the different societal sectors living along the Mediterranean coast is key to achieve an effective management and protection of the shared natural resources and ecosystem services that the sea and land offer to us.
More than 50 participants are expected to attend the social event in Tunis on 18 October, followed by a one-day conference and panel debate on 19 October 2023 on the added value of collaboration and cooperation between cities and natural area communities, so that environmentally-friendly practices and tools can be adopted by society at large.
