IDEA Alzira, the incubator in charge of involving the private sector in the MED-InA pilot city of Carcaixent (Valencian Community, Spain), is organising a pitching event in the Alzira Local Development Agency premises this Friday 25 February, to select the best 2 start-ups out of 19 candidates and 2 ideas out of 10 candidates.

Among the expected achievements of Med-EcoSuRe, is the development of action plans addressed to higher education decision-makers, which enable to put into action national (or regional) guidelines in terms of energy renovation of buildings, through the identification of energy saving practices and appropriate financial instruments, while capitalizing on the tools developed within the project.

From 7 to 12 of February, the consultancy firm TIMESIS, contracted by Palestinian Wastewater Engineers Group (PWEG), MEDISS lead partner, made the second round of in-depth study of soil in an extensive area planted with date palm in collaboration with the Governorate of Jericho and with the coordination of the PWEG project leader.

The research was aimed at the analysis and characterization of soils.
