Córdoba's municipal waste company (Sadeco), lead beneficiary of REUSEMED, placed a  box 'Cajón de Sastre' (meaning jumble in Spanish) in the Paseo de La Victoria, at the height of the city's Roman Mausoleum. Thanks to this initiative, promoted within the framework of the REUSEMED project, Córdoba's residents can deposit in it any object they no longer use. In this way, with a mechanism as simple as bartering, other people will be able to take these discarded items at no cost and give them a second live.

On March 12th on the sidelines of the annual MARLOG conference, the largest International Maritime Transport and Logistics Conference in Alexandria, in its 12th edition, the Egyptian TECHLOG Living Lab and technology transfer center was launched. 

Following the review of the system cause-effect analysis document carried out by the Ecosystem-Based Management (EBM) working group on the Gulf of Corigliano area in Italy, participatory meetings with stakeholders are being planned, at the end of which the decision support system (DSS) will be finalized and proposals for management measures for the Italian area will be formulated.

The European Union has been a crucial development partner and supporter of the water sector in Egypt for many years, providing significant amounts of funding and investment to support water infrastructure development and management. Portugal is currently participating in the iHERITAGE project, an EU-funded initiative aimed at promoting and enhancing the Mediterranean UNESCO cultural heritage through innovative experiences by creating cross-border living labs for research and innovation. 

From the 15th to the 17th of March 2023, INDESCAT, Spanish partner of Skills4Sports, will organise the Strategic Alliance Meeting in Barcelona, ​​which will be attended by all partners of the EU-funded Skills4Sports project from Greece, Palestine, Lebanon, Italy and Malta.

The SOLE partners met in Seville at the Agencia Andaluza de la Energía on Mar. 6th and 7th to prepare for the project's closing phase and to create synergies with the Interreg SUDOE IMPROVEMENT project.

The pilot project in Italy was completed on Tuesday 7 March at the ANCI Puglia (The Association of Municipalities of Apulian Region) headquarters in Bari.

On the 2nd and 3rd March 2023, the Institut National des Sciences et Technologies de la Mer (INSTM), the lead beneficiary of Co-Evolve4BG, organized a participatory training/workshop in Djerba. Attendees with different backgrounds and expertise including: representative of municipalities, Minister of Transport, Minister of Tourism, Environmental Agencies, Maritime Cluster of Tunisia, NGOs, scientists and experts…) participated in this event. The event aimed to draft a strategic action plan aiming to promote sustainable coastal/maritime tourism in Djerba.
