After three years, the MoreThanAJob project is coming to an end. With that, the Business Consultancy and Training Services (Lebanese partner) in cooperation with the lead beneficiary of the project, An-Najah National University, organized the project’s final conference in Lebanon end of February 2023, sponsored by the Ministry of Social Affairs patronages in cooperation with the General Labor Union in Lebanon.

The EU-funded CROSSDEV project – Cultural Routes for Sustainable Social and Economic Development in Mediterranean – is coming to an end after years of hard work in four Med countries: Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine.
The numerous successful stories and huge impact of the project on the working areas certainly call for celebrations. But before that, let’s see some figures!

THE RESULTS

On the 31 March 2023, the Federación Andaluza de Municipios y Provincias (FAMP) - the Spanish partner of INTERNISA project - held a public event to present a memorandum collecting  a set of recommendations deriving from INTERNISA experience in the  Andalusian region. These recommendations provide a strategic document for public and private organizations to improve women’s socio-occupational integration in the society.

During the Food Expo at the Metropolitan Expo Center in Athens on March 18-20, 2023, Greek stakeholders in the olive, olive oil, dairy, and meat sectors learned about the ENI CBC MED LIVINGAGRO project, Cross-Border Living Laboratories for Agroforestry, and shared their views on innovation and agroforestry.

As a final stage of the NAWAMED project, the Technical Training and Policy Workshop on Non-Conventional Water (NCW) Management was held in Siracusa and Ferla (Sicily) for a total of 3 days, from 12 to 14 April 2023.

The conference was held at the end of February 2023 as one of the main activities of IPMED project which aims at contributing to the development of the intellectual property of start-ups, SMEs and women entrepreneurs in the Mediterranean region but also to the capacity building of stakeholders especially young and women entrepreneurs by raising their awareness of the principles of intellectual property rights.

During the conference, entrepreneurs were awared sub-grants to develop their business ideas. 

During the International Compost Awareness Week of Catalonia, we are glad to annouce that Fundació Formació i Treball, SIRCLES project's partner in Catalonia, is organizing an open day to the compost area of the Torre d'en Dolça park in Vila-seca on May 9th from 9.30 a.m. until 1.30 p.m.  

BIC EURONOVA will host the final conference of the SME4SMARTCITIES project on 21^st June 2023 in Málaga, Spain! This exciting event will bring together industry leaders, researchers, and decision-makers from across the Mediterranean area to discuss the achievements of the project and explore ways to further advance the development of smart city solutions.

As set out in the project, different Local Living Labs have been organized among Mediterranean countries in the past months. For example, our main partner from Italy, Naples Agency for Energy and Environment (ANEA), decided to organize a three sessions workshop which took place between February and April 2023 in Naples (Italy). 

Back in February and March 2023, Anci Toscana organised two brainstorming meetings called #SOLEenergyTALKS in Florence, Italy.
