The Eastern Living Lab team, spearheaded by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), joined forces with the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce and the Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations (CEEBA) as partners of the TECHLOG project in organizing the 2nd round of roundtable discussions aimed at co-designing and validating Technology Transfer and Innovation Initiatives focusing on safety.

However, in 1979, a significant transformation occurred with the establishment of the Alexandria Water Company, which became a government-owned entity tasked with ensuring a consistent and reliable water supply for the region. This vital utility serves several key areas, including the Alexandria governorate, parts of Matrouh governorate, and the Behara governorate.

"Women4Climate" is a mentorship program for groundbreaking women entrepreneurs who design new environmental and climate-related products and solutions for cities and for community wellbeing. On the 10th and 11th July, the INVESTMED subgrantees met for the 2nd time at the Mid-Term Regional Event. The event took place on the 10th and 11th July 2023, at Sant Pau Recinte Modernista, UNESCO World Heritage Site, Barcelona, gathering the 41 beneficiaries of the project’s subgranting programme from Egypt, Tunisia, and Lebanon, along with experts in sustainable entrepreneurship.
