A national capitalization event was held in Sfax, Tunisia on 16 October 2023 to look at the lessons learned, the results of the subgrantees' activities and the transfer of tools at local level particularly concerning environmental awareness, fighting marine pollution, promoting sustainable practices in traditional fisheries and participatory governance models for natural resources.

On the 26th October, INVESTMED project partner, the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association, held the final Access to Finance workshop, inviting entrepreneurs in the green, blue, and cultural and creative industries to connect with investors from Egypt, Lebanon and Tunisia. This was the final session in a series of 4 workshops with finance suppliers and experts to support the INVESTMED entrepreneurs with access to sustainable finance beyond the activities of the INVESTMED project. 

AlRames, Association for Local Community Development of Pastures and Environment in cooperation with project associated partners organizes in Egypt the Monitoring and Mitigation two days final workshop in Matrouh Governorate on 27-28 October 2023. 

The workshop will present and articulate the findings and results captured within the project in the last two years with particular focus on No SUP initiative and set up national strategy for the appropriate tools and legislations for Marine Litter mitigation in Egypt.

The Mediterranean region has long been celebrated for its rich culinary traditions and vibrant agro-food sector. It is a place where flavors, cultures, and traditions converge, creating a diverse and unique gastronomic landscape. In this dynamic context, MedSNAIL project worked by fostering the valorisation and development of small-scale traditional agro-food value chains, combining enhancement of market potentialities and socio-environmental sustainability.

The Region of East Macedonia & Thrace, Greek partner of Co-Evolve4BG, organized a participatory workshop in the premises of the Region, at  Komotini on the 19th of October 2023. This was the last event of the Co-Evolve4BG project in Greece.

In the context of the CLUSTER4GREEN project, the Federation of Egyptian Industries has organized the second internaitonal conference on Social and Environmental Impact of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) & Local Investment and Circular Economy strategies to strengthen MSMEs competitiveness in Cairo (egypt) on 10th of October.
