The project is facing the last months of its implementation: the technical part is coming to an end and the focus is moving towards the dissemination of the project.

On the technical side, the partners are finishing the Pilots in the three municipalities: Sousse (Tunisia), Moukhtara (Lebanon) and Irbid (Jordan). Pilots will evaluate the implementation of theSustainable Assessment Tool (the software which makes possible the generation of contextualised tools for the MED municipalities) and the Collaborative Platform (the website to involve citizens in the decision-making process aimed to identify the best retrofit concept for existing neighbourhoods). The results of these tests are being incorporated in the Multi-Level Governance Guide, the Project Guide and the Policy Paper, which will be published in the website soon.

On the dissemination side, the most important event is the Final Conference to be held on 23rd November in Athens (Greece) which is being organized by the National Observatory of Athens.

Besides, a dissemination event in each municipality will be performed during the first week of December. In these events, external experts in urban planning, policy-makers and members of the municipalities will attend to give their feedback about the results of the project.

In order to explain in an easy way, the decision-making methodology elaborated within the project, the partners have created a boarding game with the 7 phases of the methodology. Soon  a news article will be published in the project website with the materials and instructions available to download, which will make it possible to play.

The newsletter is available in English and you can read it right HERE. Don’t miss it!
