Sustainable MED Cities fourth newsletter shows you the core activity of the project: the Testing Phase

This newsletter introduces the 7 steps of the Testing Phase that are being performed in the 3 municipalities of the consortium.

The three municipalities have selected a neighbourhood and a building in order to test the SNTool (Sustainable Neighbourhood Tool) and SBTool (Sustainable Building Tool).

These two tools start from a generic framework and they are adaptated with the selection of the inputs more important for the municipalities. With the outcomes obtained after the whole testing, the partners will create their definitive and contextualized own tools. With them, the governments will be able to evaluate sustainability at neighborhood and building scale.

On the other hand, the consortium does not forget about the importance of the dissemination of the project. The partners NOA and iiSBE presented the project in the Sustainable Building Environment Conference in Thessaloniki. Also, the partner of the Municipality of Sousse has introduced the results achieved until the moment on the public event “Green and Efficient Cities for a Sustainable Mediterranean” in Tunis.
