We are proud to announce that SOLE Jordanian partner, the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) got 2nd place in the 'retrofit project of the year' category of MENA Green Building Award 2023 with its SOLE's pilot project.

The event, organised by the Emirates Green Building Council (EGBC) in partnership with seven regional Green Building Councils and endorsed by the World Green Building Council, celebrates excellence and best practice in the built environment across the region. 

Receiving an award for the energy requalification works carried out within the SOLE framework in the Iskan Faiha School, a public school in Madaba, located 33 km south-west of the capital Amman, marks the recognition of the high sustainability and quality standards adopted by RSS.

As a result of the works carried out, the school reduced its energy bill and its CO2 emissions while providing a better working environment for students and staff. This is one among SOLE's results, a project cofinanced by Programme ENI CBC MED which carried out several cost-effective and innovative energy rehabilitations of public buildings across the Mediterranean.
