Did you know the building sector is the most energy inefficient sector in the Mediterranean region? With high levels of CO2 emissions and rising energy use, not to mention our planet's current energy dilemma, rehabilitative measures are more important than ever!

That is what the SOLE project wants to achieve by encouraging cost-effective and innovative energy rehabilitation of public buildings, beginning with the implementation of 7 pilot projects in Mediterranean countries: Lebanon, Tunisia, Egypt, Italy, Spain, Greece and Jordan.

SOLE's Egyptian partner, the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce has launched the tender for contracting the design and installation of a solar Photovoltaic system at SOLE's pilot area in Egypt, the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University.

The Contractor should provide for 2-years a system of 200 kWp Solar Photovoltaic to supply the station through the connection to the internal electrical Network through Grid Tie Inverter. Additionally, a Hybrid System of at least 3 Phases, 15 KW, including Battery Banks in the Faculty of Engineering Rooftop of the Alexandria University for Contract.

If you are interested in receiving the tender documents, please send an email to Ms. Eman Seif emanseif@hotmail.com.
