SME4SMARTCITIES joins RESMYLE project at its conference in Tunisia, May 2022

SME4SMARTCITIES Italian partner, FILSE, was among the 80 delegates from Italy, Jordan, Lebanon and Tunisia who joined the first stakeholders conference organized by the ENI CBC MED project RESMYLE in Hammamet, Tunisia on 19 -20 May, 2022.

The meeting focused on the professional mismatch of new green jobs in the Mediterranean area, with an angle on young people who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEETs) and their social inclusion. Representing the Liguria Region, Ms. Maria Nives Riggio and Mr. Pietro De Martino from FILSE presented the opportunities, the strength and needs of the territory, highlighting the commitment of the company in the support of the entrepreneurial ecosystem growth. The event was also a good chance to present some insights of the SME4SMARTCITIES project, ongoing activities and to promote the central role of transnational cooperation and networking to foster the knowledge transfer among stakeholders and SMEs, as a growth opportunity both for social and economic development.
