On 15th February 2022, SEACAP 4 SDG project participated to the event “Mediterranean territories facing the challenges of climate change and ecological transition –  Dialogue between elected representatives from both shores ”, organized by ENI CBC Med Programme in partnership with the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region - National Programme Authority for France - and the EuroMed Cities Network.

The aim of the event, which gathered over 120 participants among elected officials from Mediterranean cities and ENI CBC Med project beneficiaries, was to carry out a shared reflection on the major environmental issues facing the Mediterranean region (circular economy, energy efficiency, management of natural resources, etc.) and the solutions provided both at the level of public policies and at the technical level.

A first “political” roundtable was organized to highlight the cities’ approach, and a second “technical” roundtable presented various projects.

SEACAP 4 SDG (Euromed Cities Network/Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis as Lead Partner) was invited to the second roundtable, to present the project on behalf of the partnership, putting the emphasis on both the large scale capitalization strategy of the project, and on the city capacity building and training initiative.
