SEACAP 4 SDG at Barcelona University Business Forum: driving building energy renovation through public-private partnerships
On 26th May 2022, IREC (Instituto de Investigación de la Energía de Cataluña), one of the Spanish partner of SEACAP 4 SDG project, participated to the University Business Forum held in Barcelona (Spain), an event organized by SECARTYS and SOLARTYS within Med-EcoSuRe project, funded under the standard call for proposal of ENI CBCMED Program.
The Forum has been the opportunity to present objectives and activities of SEACAP 4 SDG project, financed within the capitalization call of ENI CBCMED Program which aims to adapt and capitalize some results and innovative tools also from Med-EcoSuRe project, regarding energy efficiency and renewable energy measures in public buildings.
The event, intended as opportunity for discussion, networking, sharing of experience and exchange of good practice, brought together policy makers, representatives from higher education and business, and other stakeholders to debate and propose innovative financing schemes, organizational structures and partnership in order to accelerate the energy retrofitting of the university building stock.
