The RESET project partners have developed the Data Base Management System (DBMS) as part of the project's knowledge management and research phase. The purpose of the DBMS is to act as a central repository for all data collected from interviews with EU projects and targeted stakeholders that discussed the needs and best practices for green and circular business. This will allow partners to easily access and analyze the data in one place.

The DBMS is a part of the Capitalisation Lab, which is focused on identifying, locating, gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing knowledge related to sustainable and green businesses. To achieve this, the project partners first created a 'need/knowledge map' by engaging stakeholders who need the knowledge and stakeholders who hold the knowledge, using a variety of participatory processes. The data collected from these interviews will then be fed into the DBMS, which will process the data to enable effective analysis and comparison against pre-defined success indicators and other axes of comparison. The DBMS also takes into account data privacy, transparency, and protection, as well as technical solutions to overcome format and quality issues arising from a wide variety of sources.
The project partners will then use the resulting data to generate actionable recommendations and strategies for the project's target groups, including EU-funded projects, local and national stakeholders, and regional decision-makers. The goal is to develop successful methodologies and mechanisms for creating and supporting sustainable and green businesses.

In conclusion, the resulting actionable recommendations and strategies aim to provide valuable insights for the project's target groups. This is vital to achieving the project's goal of creating sustainable and green businesses. The project's approach, involving stakeholders and using participatory processes, ensures that the knowledge gathered is relevant and useful for the target groups and will help drive the sustainable and green business industry forward.
