Plastic Buster CAP will participate in the 10th Meeting of the Union for Mediterranean ( UfM) Working Group on Blue Economy
The project Plastic Buster CAP, co-financed by the European Union in the framework of the ENI CBC Med programme, gets into the heart and presents itself at the 10th Meeting of the UfM Working Group on Blue Economy Hybrid joining new synergies. This Working group is a technical group composed of representatives designated by the UfM countries and co-chaired by the two co-Presidencies with the support of the UfM Secretariat.
The online meeting will take place in Brussels at the Albert Borschette Conference Centre, and it will be possible for participants to access it through Interactio (by invitation only).
The coordinator Maria Cristina Fossi from the University of Siena who is the Lead Beneficiary of the project Plastic Busters CAP together with Thomais Vlachogianni from Mediterranean Information Office for Environment, Culture and Sustainable Development, one of the partners, will present the objectives and activities within Session2: Ongoing activities related to sustainable blue economy in the Mediterranean: Updates and synergies.
This participation in the Hybrid event represents a strategic synergy with Union for Mediterranean and the Plastic Busters Initiative. Moreover, it is a fundamental step within the Work Package 2 – Communication of the project, to strengthen the collective consciousness related to the Marine Litter and to reaffirm the strategic and fundamental role of the Capitalisation project in fostering knowledge transfer to tackle this problem in the whole Mediterranean area.
