NAWAMED: a workshop for dealing with technical tools for the start-up of non-conventional water reuse projects, mainly through nature-based solutions in Italy

Next Thursday, 7 July, local public authorities and key stakeholders from Latina (Italy) will participate in NAWAMED's 4th 'Water Table', discussing technical tools for the start-up of non-conventional water reuse (NCWR) projects and efficient water management in urban areas.

The online event will be opened by Fabio Zaccarelli, Provincia di Latina and Project Manager of the NAWAMED project, who will present the progress of the NAWAMED project and the activity developed during past “Water Tables”.

Maria Pietrobelli together with Paola Reggio, CRAS srl (Centro di Ricerca Applicata per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile), technical assistance of the Provincia di Latina, will present the objectives of the 4th "Water Table" and the activities planned for the day and results of stakeholder participation at the 3th "Water Table". 

Stefano Magaudda, U-Space, technical assistance of Provincia di Latina, will outline the funding opportunities available at European, national and local level for the management of water resources.

Carola De Angelis, Head of ESI Funds (European structural and investment funds) and technical assistance at LazioInnova will talk about unitary programming and funding opportunities for water resource management in the Lazio Region.

Angelica Vignozzi together with Alberto Budoni, Latina Municipality and University “La Sapienza di Roma”, will present the experience of the Upper Latina project and the opportunities to access community resources.

Finally, Maria Pietrobelli will talk about local climate planning as a tool for accessing funds.

The online event, from 15:00 to 17:00 CEST, is in Italian and is open to public authorities and key invited stakeholders.
