MENAWARA in Palestine: Lessons learned and recommendation for the re-use of non-conventional water in agriculture

This conference is organized in the framework of two projects implemented by WWGVC in Beit Dajan village (Nablus), namely Treated Waste Water for Sustainable Agriculture (ARD) with the contribution of Emilia-Romagna Region and MENAWARA Non-conventional Water Reuse in Agriculture in Mediterranean Countries, Led by UNISS, financed by ENICBCMED EU Program. During the conference the lessons learned stemmed out of the experiences of WW-GVC and partners as well as ministries and local authorities will be discussed in roundtables.

Practical recommendations will be collectively drawn by the conference attendees’ (ministries, local authorities and local partners) to mainstream safe and sustainable reuse of Treated Wastewater in agriculture by honing technical and governance aspects at national and local level.
