Within the framework of the implementation of MEDUSA project, our partner WWF North Africa has launched the capacity building program by organizing the first training of trainers online session on “sustainable tourism destination management”. Five local trainers from MEDUSA target territories around the Mediterranean attended this training to learn and gain knowledge about training tools and sustainable destination management to apply the new skills in MEDUSA territories with key local stakeholders working in adventure tourism. The duration of the session was four days from 13 to 16 July 2020. Trainees from Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, Italy and Spain had the chance to develop their competencies and knowledge, to later adapt the training content to a local context and pass on the information. The training was facilitated by a Canadian sustainable tourism expert.
