MedTOWN in Tunisia gathers social and solidarity economy actors
The Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) Day in the Medina of Tunis 'Gathering of social and solidarity economy actors' is organised by MedTOWN Tunisian partner, the Tunisian Center for Social Entrepreneurship and the municipality of Tunis. It will be held on Friday 24 November 2023, from 09:00 to 20:30, with the opening of the SSE Cluster, launched as part of MedTOWN project, cofunded by ENI CBC Med Programme and Asamblea de Cooperación por la Paz (ACPP), and the project "Dignifying working conditions in the domestic sector - Phase II", funded by the Generalitat Valenciana, Spain. The event is also supported by the Tunisian Ministry of Labour, Blue Fish and Collectif Créatif Tunis.
The agenda starts with a press conference focused on the SSE Cluster from 9 am to 11 am. Afterwords, there are seven parallel activities from 11 am until 20.30 pm, organised by different Social and Solidarity Economy actors in the Cluster. These are aimed at women entrepreneurs & women running cooperatives in Grand Tunis, as Digital Lab Training and Female Force Studio.
