MED4EBM: Training on EB-ICZM-DSS software tool in Jordan

In the framework of the MED4EBM project, an online technical training session was conducted on October 21st, 2020 for the project partner The Royal Marine Conservation Society of Jordan (JREDS)

The training session has been designed and deployed by PROGES, the MED4EBM technical and methodological Partner, which are integrated into the PROGES Integrated Spatial Planning package (www.progesconsulting.it/ISP.aspx).

The objective of the EB-ICZM-DSS software tool training session was to introduce the partners on how to use the software and apply it throughout the project integration. This training is reflected in the thematic training exercise that was held in September as both interlinks together. Each component in the thematic scope was inserted into the software tool, along with its indicators, creating a qualitative-structural system diagram. The latter will help the partners in the project implementation to understand how Ecosystem-Based Management will benefit their coastal area and ways to apply the system.

The training was held virtually by the EBM Methodological Coordinator of the MED4EBM Project, Mr Francesco Falcetta, PhD, eight trainees participated in the training.
