MAIA-TAQA project press conference
As part of the launching of the MAIA-TAQA project (“Mobilizing new Areas of Investments And Together Aiming to increase Quality of life for All”), a press conference was held Athens on the 3rd of October at the premises of the Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CRES), lea beneficiary of the project.
Representatives from CRES and the Greek Solar Industry Association, as well as partners from Egypt, Italy and Lebanon presented the foreseen pilots, training activities and innovation support and networking services that will be implemented to boost the development of resource efficiency services among SMEs and policy-makers.
More specifically, the MAIA-TAQA project will focus on the following sectors:
- micro-grids
- photovoltaics
- energy storage
- solar thermal technologies
- water sanitation and purification
