Key players from the Mediterranean region gather in Lebanon to strengthen alliances in organic agriculture under ORGANIC ECOSYSTEM

The ORGANIC ECOSYSTEM team, along with representatives from the Ministries of Agriculture in the region, SMEs, and other key players in the organic farming sector, are gathering in Lebanon to strengthen the alliances they have been developing over the past three years.

Here's an interesting fact: Bekaa Valley is celebrated for its expansive agricultural lands. As Lebanon's primary agricultural region, it is famous for producing some of the finest wines in the country. The valley boasts a rich history in wine production, dating back 7,000 years, making it one of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world. In addition to its agricultural significance, Bekaa Valley is also known for its archaeological sites, including the ancient Roman city of Baalbek and numerous Islamic and medieval forts.

This historic and agriculturally rich area, deeply connected to the agriculture sector for centuries, is the chosen venue for this significant meeting.
